Sultan Salehuddin ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah is the 29th Ruler of Kedah since 12 September 2017.
He was appointed as Raja Muda of Kedah (heir apparent) in 15th December 2016 following the demise of the preceeding Raja Muda, Tunku Abdul Malik. Upon the passing of Sultan Abdul Halim, his eldest brother, he was appointed as the 29th Sultan of Kedah.
The Sultan and the royal consort, Sultanah Maliha have two sons.

2. Tunku Shazuddin Ariff, Tunku Mahkota
