Today In Royal History : Raja Muda of Selangor succeed to end his voyage round the world

9th November 1996 : Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Idris Shah ibni Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (now Sultan) succeed to complete his voyage around the world. Tengku Idris succeed to circumnavigated around the world in his yacht, Jugra. The journey took him 644 days to be completed. The journey began in February 1995 and ended in November 1996, about 2 years. He was accompanied by four crew members Mark Crossen, Claire Johnstone, Craig Rosevear, Woody Henderson and all of them are Australian. They were sailing through 27,940 nautical miles and crossing three oceans, 14 seas, three canals and called at 155 ports.
