Tunku Temenggong of Johor, Tunku Idris Iskandar was appointed as the Regent of Johor during the absence of Sultan of Johor and Tunku Mahkota of Johor. Tunku Mahkota of Johor, Tunku Ismail Ibrahim will be holding the position after he returns to Johor on 19th October. Tunku Idris is the second son to the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar.
